This a new course and forms the final part of the ‘New (or not) to…’ series of courses based upon the use of quality texts.

Outcomes: Participants will be introduced to a range of ideas using quality texts to stimulate in-depth engagement with fiction, non-fiction and poetry. We will look at ideas for writing in provision, using children’s interests to develop their vocabulary, spoken  language, reading and writing. There will also be an exploration of how links can be made with the wider curriculum including Physical Development and Understanding the World.
